The Damonte Ranch Rebels is an organization that began in the summer of 2004.  The Rebels are the summer program of the Damonte Ranch High School baseball program.  The high school program and the summer program are two separate programs financially.  We generally have two teams; Rebels A and Rebels B.  We have also had C teams in past years we have enough interest from incoming freshman and 7th graders. The summer is a great opportunity for players to develop.  The Rebels program is only for players that attend or will attend Damonte Ranch High School.  The season generally begins on Memorial Day weekend.  The short season concludes on the first or second week in July.  We also run a fall program in September and October.  That season will have a separate cost from the summer.

We encourage multi-sport participation at Damonte Ranch High School, and we completely understand that players will have conflicts with other sports in the summer and in the fall seasons.  WE COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!! WE JUST EXPECT GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH THE COACHING STAFF.  If you are NOT playing another sport, we highly recommend participation in the Rebel program.

Playing time in the summer is not completely equal, but everyone will get opportunities to showcase their skills and learn about the expectations of the program.

The cost for the Rebels program varies depending on the number of players, but in the past, it has generally been $500 for the A program and $350 for the B program. The costs of the program go towards umpires, tournament fees, game baseballs, insurance, coach’s pay, field maintenance materials, game hats and uniform costs.

We organize teams to maximize each player’s opportunity for playing time.  In order to develop players we need to get them on the field.  Our program makes all of its decisions based on what’s best for each individual player.
